Frequently Asked Questions
To estimate the range of your finished EV-conversion is difficult, it depends on a lot of factors, such as the weight of the car, gear ratio, battery pack etc. A possible solution is to check out our EV conversions page. To check if any previous customers have converted and documented a similar car.
No at this time the only compatible components are the Nissan Leaf on board charger, inverter, motor and battery pack from 2013 to 2024

All Nissan Leaf and Nissan e-NV200 models from 2013 to 2024 are compatible with the Resolve controller. The only exception being that chademo fast charging does not work with model years 2017-2024. Everything else, including regular charging, DC/DC conversion, inverter and motor works with the 2017-2024 models.
Yes, you must use all the original Nissan Leaf cells. The Leaf's Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the voltage of every cell, and if any are missing, it will detect a fault and prevent the system from functioning.
There are two options for pedals for the Resolve controller a Nissan Leaf pedal from 2013-2024 which is top mounted. Or VW Touran pedal from 2010-2015, which is bottom mounted. Depending on your EV conversion it might be easier to mount a top mounted or bottom mounted pedal
Included in all Resolve controller purchases is a small OLED display. If you want to display more info or in different way we also have a collaboration with speedhut gauges. They create gauges that can be customized with respect to color and size
The Resolve controller system is compatible with the Leafspy app, if you purchase a compatible OBD2 dongle it is possible to read error codes (DTC) from each Nissan Leaf component. One can also read out individual cell voltages of the batterypack, state of health of the batterypack, battery temperature, and much more!
