Get started
The display comes set up for the Resolve Controller and Nissan Leaf drive parts. With those, there is nothing to set: wire it and switch the car on.
- Wire it (pinout):
- pin 5 to 12 V through a fuse, pin 1 to ground;
- pin 6 (CAN H) and pin 2 (CAN L) to the CAN bus the Resolve Controller is on, as a short branch (the display has no termination resistor).
- Switch the car on. The display turns on with the Resolve Controller and shows Sport (dash): charge, gear, battery power and the 12 V battery. With the charge cable in, it shows the charging screen.
- Optional: make it yours on the Resolve Display page, with desktop Chrome or Edge and a USB-C cable: another screen, colours, brightness and firmware updates (Connecting).

On the settings page:
- CAN bitrate: your bus's speed;
- Ignition source: your controller's CAN flag (Ignition signal), or Ignition wire with switched 12 V on pin 7;
- the dash's values: Dash CAN signals, from your car's DBC file, or let an AI write a configuration file; Not used for a value your car doesn't have;
- Resolve Controller errors off (Both dashes).
